We are a multi-generational family who has a family of master stucco and plasterers. Stucco has always been part of our family and when you join Parada you become part of our family.
Projects
New Commercial-Northlake. TX
This is a new commercial building. We applied a three-coat hard cement stucco system, framed the stucco, and used a 66-casting beam. The control joints are metal lath with whether proof paper. We then applied the corner beams with scratch and brown coats. Then, we applied the scratch and brown coat. Then we finished it off with a base coat of cement and fiberglass mesh to tie everything together. The finishing coat was a beautiful white fine maxi textured finishing coat finished by one of the masters here at Parada Brothers Stucco.
Repair and Restoration- Dallas. TX
This project was a older existing building. The stucco on the entire building was damaged so we gave it a complete make over. We repaired all of the existing stucco with a base coat mesh application and applied a matching texture finishing coat. Then, we painted the entire building beautifully to give it an entirely different look. This completed the restoration of this building. We were really proud of this one because it was a very difficult to make this match happen. You can really tell how good this matchup is. Just like the damage never happened. In case you didn't know, we really love our work.
On the Border- Garland, TX
On this project we demolished the brick on the right wall. We then placed EIFS on the stucco. First, we applied weatherproofing paper and installed the control joints. We used thicker foam boards and fastened with long screws with washers. Once leveled we used a rasping technique. After applying the base coat, cement, and fiberglass mesh. When all of that was finished, we finished it all off with a skip trowel finish and all of the stucco matched the rest of the building. The client was so pleased.
